 66059 heads the 6A51 Coventry-Wembley past the old station at Castlethorpe on the 7th of May 2008. I only intended to get a single shot (of 323210) at this location, but due to various dleays, I spent longer here than I had wanted!

 323210 heads past Castlethorpe on the 7th of May 2008. The unit is nearing its destination at Wolverton works where it will be given a 'London Midland' makeover. I thought this shot, while not ideal or picturesque, would add interest in years to come. Note the workmen dead-centre in the picture. Investigation into cable-theft in the are was taking place, and I myself was approached a couple of times by security!

After finding out that the 6E41 had run into trouble, a quick dash was made to Hatton where I was hoping to catch 60074 on the 6E55 Theale-Lindsey. By the time I arrived, this train would have normally passed, but good fortune saw the working running slightly late, and thus I was able to get the shot. The sun was quite 'milky' but I thought it worth taking the photo all the same!

Despite being cleared a couple of years ago, the growth of trees and Bushes at Harbury is making it almost impossible to photograph. (The once excellent south-bound shot has long been lost!) With this in mind, I rushed over to Milton Malsor in an attempt to get the unit twice in a day. As it happened, I didn`t quite get there in time, and probably only missed it by a matter of minutes.... However, while I was here, 321411 is paired with 321413 as they make their way to London Euston. 14th May 2008.
