The former 'Wolf of Badenoch' stands all alone at Long Martson on the 8th of June 2008. I`ve heard that this loco is being stripped for spares.

08447 is photographed at Long Marston on the 8th of June 2008. The 'lilac' colour scheme is interesting enough, but the cab end just does NOT look right. The loco would look so much better with either full wasp stripes, or wasp stripes to the lower half with the upper half of the cab ends lilac.
These 2 FGW motorail vans were also at last years event, although this year, only one was displayed open. Maybe they couldn`t borrow enough cars this time round??? Long Marston, 8th June 2008

87028 and 87022 'on-shed' at Long Marston on the 8th of June 2008. The AC Locomotive group had a stand nearby and were offering a cab-tour in 87028. Note the number on 87028 which now reads 87028-7. Cock o'the North was also numbered 87022-0 on the side..........
