| From the 19th of July 2008, the railway at Lincoln is to close for a period of 6 weeks. During this period, the laying of new trackwork will be completed, and the area is to be resignalled, so it`s goodbye to the remaining semaphores, and to the Pelham Street signalbox..... With that in mind, I made a journey to Lincoln on the 18th, but the bad weather, and a couple of freight trains which didn`t run, resulted in disappointment.....
