Standing in for the usual electric, 66533 works 4L75 11:24 Crewe BH-Felixstowe, and is photographed approaching LOng Buckby on the 2nd of March 2009. After this shot, it was pretty much game-over with regards to the clouds!

The last time I ventured out to photograph the 1P03 Wrexham-Marylebone, its time at Leamington spa was 10:20. This time was changed in December to 9:55, and I foolishly forgot to check prior to leaving home, and was annoyed at seeing a silver skip passing Deppers Bridge before reaching this location near Bishops Itchington. Oh well, here is 168112. 4th of March 2009.

Annoyed at missing the skip, I thought I`d at least wait for the Leeds-Souithampton freightliner. In the meantime, 165034 passes Holmes House Farm, Bishops Itchington. The 'liner' did indeed show up, but alas, had a cloud for company.............. 2 units = not a very successful session! 4th of March 2009

My second attempt at 1P03 this month!!! I woke up to a beautiful clear sky, and I even remembered that the train is now pathed earlier than before, so how difficult can it be? Well, here is the answer as 1P03 07:25 Wrexham-Marylebone approaches Holmes House Farm the wrong way round with 82305 leading! 67015 was providing power at the rear. 6th March 2009.

165024 is seen heading south from Banbury. 6th March 2009. By this point, the clouds were being troublesome, and after ruining one freight working, I decided to call it a day, only to arrive in Northamptonshire with very few clouds around!

37706 heads 5Z47 Carnforth-Southall, and is running about 20 early as it approaches Long Buckby on the 11th of March 2009. The sun wasn`t quite far round enough at this point for my liking, but 20 minutes later it would have been spot-on! I know, I`m never happy am I??

A shot I rarely bother with now due to the growth of those annoying trees to the foreground. However, as this was my first glimpse of 'James Engine_________The', I thought I`d at least make the effort. This is 66414 with 4S44 12:17 Crick-Coatbridge on the 11th of March 2009.

I came here to this location near Watford village for the wednesday only 6L42 Warrington Arpley-Ripple Lane, but it either took an earlier path, or was heavily delayed. I started to wonder if I`d get anything going south in the right light, so a shot of 350244 was taken just in case!
