When Pendolinos go bump in the night.......... Class 90 haulage returns to the WCML again on a daily basis thanks to a mishap involving 2 pendolinos at Wembley depot. On the 7th of April 2009, 90036 works 1G30 15:43 London Euston-Birmingham New Street, and is photographed at Gayton. Lets hope this service runs for a while!

On Tuesday morning on the 21st of April 2009, I found out that the 1M16 Inverness-Euston Sleeper passed Winwick over three hours late! With that in mind, I headed out to Whilton Locks, and walked down the Grand Union Canal towards Muscott. Alas, the sleeper was terminated at Crewe, and all I got was this losy tilting thing, 390013............ Oh well, it was a lovely walk!

I dislike Vermin Voyagers, but the sight of them on the Northampton loop is rare, so it would have been silly not to have recorded them. This brace is seen heading south at Watford village on the 21st of April 2009. Several passenger working were routed up to London via the loop today, so there must have been problems somewhere on the mainline......

I often find gaps in containers frustrating, but this time, we can at least see some of Lord Henley`s Bridge just before the first container. This location used to offer a fine view, and the marvelous bridge could be see much clearer on the left hand side as we look at this shot, but unfortunately, tree growth has got out of control......
