No-Thrills November

Just a few bits so far this month, but anything decent has come with bad light and/or bad luck....................

............and it didn`t exactly end very well either, with my last photograph this site will see being of an every day shed. Oh well. Thanks to all those who have been regular visitors in the past. The site will still be here in 'archive form' for a short while.

 Almost 7 miles away from Daventry, 66431 nears the end of its journey with 4M34 04:36 Coatbridge-Dirft. In a few hundred yards, the train will take the spur to the Freight terminal in nearby Crick. 2nd November 2009

Going out on Saturday for a shed?? I must be mad! 66177 approaches Long Buckby with 6M86 Immingham-Northampton, conveying coal for Rugby cement works. The train stables at Northampton before going to Rugby on the moinday morning for unloading. 7th November 2009

 My first venture out in 10 days, so anything in the sun was going to be photographed! 350240 passes Church Brampton with a Birmingham bound train on the 17th of November 2009.

 Not the best of locations for this time of day, but the 86 and 60 took priority, and as this was on the way back to my car............... 'Bart' looking very far from Smart heads 6A42 14:42 Crick (Dirft)-Wembley. Church Brampton, 17th November 2009.

90049 passes Church Brampton with 4M54 10:31 Tilbury-Crewe BH. 20th November 2009

 After standing below lovely blue skies for over 40 minutes, watching 2 freights, and many units pass, it was inevitable that by the time 86702 passed with the mail, the blueness would end. A big grey one which was slowly creeping up on me duly covered the sun as the fine loco rounded the corner, so I was done my less than 40 seconds. I was not happy at all, and if I had any dummies, they would be scattered amongst the fields. The WSMR stock then passed under full dull, and then, making my way to a new location for 4M81 I got soaked in a heavy shower. Not a good day at all. At least I`m trying to see the funny side............

 AND GOODBYE......... Not excatly the most exciting of ends, but this is likely to be the last Photograph I`m to take for inclusion on this site, and it`s the boring 4M34 04:36 Coatbridge-Crick, or as many would try and have you believe, the 4M34 Daventry-Daventry, seen here at Daventry. But this is of course, Barby Nortoft, near Crick. The date is the 30th of November 2009. I did at least go out again later in the day to photograph something exciting, but all I managed was a unit. Over and out..............
